Older onboard displays in trains and buses often cannot decode modern streaming formats like H.264. Our system — used by Livesystems since 2014 — downloads highly compressed content via mobile networks and streams it to legacy systems. With just 5 watts of energy consumption, it’s perfect for compact refit installations.

QoS Monitoring of Ultra-Low-Latency Networks
Controlling vehicles remotely demands ultra-stable mobile connectivity with low latency and reliable uplinks. We’ve conducted network measurements (5G, 4G TDD, and tunnels) for several Swiss transport operators, and developed hardware for autonomous mobile network monitoring. Our systems enable glass-to-glass video streaming with latencies under 130 milliseconds — ideal for remote control and safety-critical applications.
