1.2 Device Description

RAR4000 is a powerful and rugged Transport / Infrastructure computer platform that offers advanced connectivity in small size and with low power consumption. In addition to its use in rolling stock the RAR units can also be used in general mission critical M2M applications and industrial settings. Care has been taken to ensure that the devices are fault tolerant and can recover from any unwanted operation state. With ultra-wide input voltage range and partially redundant power supplies as well as 4G available on request WiFi GPS and an integrated fully managed Ethernet Switch they can be used in a wide range of applications and environments.
